I didn’t post my eats for yesterday because I was in a foul temper last night and just went to bed. Meh.

Anyhow, I had that delicious papaya smoothie for breakfast and then I went to the gym. I did a combination of tredmill and elliptical, and felt pretty good about it. Then I headed home for lots of eats, because I was hungry! I think my omission of the hemp protein in my smoothie made it last a shorter time in my belly.

Brussels Sprouts and a tortizza. I made a cream sauce of coconut milk, nutritional yeast, miso, and a little chili powder and poured that over the sprouts — delicious! Then I had a slice of toast and almond butter, because I was still munchies.

I packed a snack to bring along to school with me:

Isn’t that little baggie cool? Minneola and some trail mix with raw cashews, chocolate chips, and dried cranberries. Kept me going through my “The Earth and How it Works” class, which sounds so innocent, but in reality is very SCIENCY. And I am duly afraid. What are the best snacks to make your brain work? Honestly I was dipping in and out of consciousness the whole 2 hours of class.

Anywho, then I trekked back to the T, and guess what? It was snowing again. And “squalling” which apparently over here means gusty winds that bring up the snow and slam it into your face. Fun.

By the time I got home I was freezing, annoyed, and generally crabalicious, and the last thing I wanted to do was cook. In fact, what I really wanted to do was eat some cookies, but I had none. So I made this instead:

I know I probably need to stop putting chocolate chips in everything, but they are so tasty and I have so many! This yummy-bowl is instant oats, a little coconut milk, granola, a blob of almond butter, and obviously, chocolate chips. I felt warm and full.

Today appears to be quite sunny, but also very windy and the temperature has dropped like, 20 degrees. Shudder. I need to run out to the gym and to the store for some TP (is that tmi?) but other than that, I think today is an inside day. Online class and homework. Yippee!
